From Geoff Holloway, Secretary, United Tasmania Group (UTG)
Kellie-Jay Keen’s recent Let Women Speak tour of Australia and New Zealand began quietly
in Brisbane (it was raining); the police did not keep control in Sydney; then there was the
Melbourne rally where neo-Nazis tried to hijack the rally – that began the Nazi mantra
against Kellie-Jay which was used by the trans lobby in Hobart where the police kept no
control; then came the infamous Auckland rally where the police were nowhere to be seen
and several people were assaulted (including Kellie-Jay). The tour also brought out the
politicians from the Greens and other parties who support transgendering children. The
abuse and violence by the trans lobby was extraordinary! The New Zealand violence against
women speaking is somewhat ironic given that it was the first country to give women the
vote (1893).
Almost all mainstream media plus politicians in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania, and the Greens in
the Australian Senate misappropriated the Nazi label to support their opposition to a national
inquiry into transgendering children & adolescents. Discussion of such issues within the
Greens has been banned. As leader of the Australian Greens, Adam Bandt, said in April
2022, trans rights are “non-negotiable”. In Tasmania, the Greens oligarchy has banned
discussion of transgender issues and they manage to get away with this as they have no
policy development committees and the number of branches across the state is limited
constitutionally to just five.
A Hobart Town Hall forum in February 2022 to discuss ‘Gender Identity in Law’ was met with
protesting trans activists and Tasmanian Green MPs who harassed any Green member who
they recognised entering the Town Hall.
Since 2021, many key Green party members across at least four Australian states have
been either suspended, expelled or have chosen to resign or retire from politics (including
the founder of the Queensland Greens) because they want to discuss transgender issues.
There is some sort of cognitive or myopic dissonance operating within the Greens when they
proclaim to be democracy and yet oppose freedom of speech. Similarly, how can the Greens
pretend to be advocates for Nature while denying the scientific, biological fact that sex is
binary! By the way, the United Tasmania Group (UTG), the original Greens (formed on 23rd
March 1972), was the first organisation in Australia to call for a national inquiry into
transgendering children and adolescents (9 August 2019).
