No less than three motions seeking to define transphobia have reached the Conference Final Agenda over the past couple of years . None made it to a debate and Plenary session. The motions have simply be allowed to “fall off ” the agenda as deemed not to be priority by those responsible for the Standing Orders for the Conduct of Conference. Nor has Green Party MP Caroline Lucas seen fit to put her considerable weight from the Conference floor behind such proposed amendments to the Party’s discriminatory policy on Trans Rights. If the Lib Dems can do the right thing to legally protect their party and funds, why can’t the Greens?
