No, it is a philosophy born out of the failure of communism, but it does fulfill the same social and psychological needs as a religion.

Given the purposes and amount of power this philosophy has been allowed to have over how people think and speak within the Green Party and elsewhre, it should be treated as a religion.

It should possibly be protected as a religion that people believe in, can speak about and live by it.

But believers must never be allowed to impose their ‘religion’ on others.
