In the same way as all modern day social justice warriors live in a fairy tale world where life is a struggle between “good” oppressed people and the “evil” oppressors, LGBTIQA+ Greens, Young Greens and a few hundreds green identinarians activists dotted around the Green Party nationally think it is their job to fight “bad” people.
Such infantile approach to politics was confirmed by former co-leader of the Green Party Jonathan Bartley at the Shahrar Ali v the GPEW Court hearing in October 2023 as he declared when cross examined that “there were good people and bad people “. In response to Judge Hellman’s query as to which side he was on, his fairly predictable reply – given the circumstances of his sudden and early resignation – was “in the middle”.
How green identinarians carry out their purge of the party’s ” bad ” people is by silencing and attacking those they disagree with, and by emotionally or even physically harming them. Evidence of such silencing tactic and harm to members who dare stick up for what they believe has been brought to light in this blog. Much more can be found on social media plaforms.
Social justice warriors do not need to listen to the “evil” opposition or consider the nuance of an argument. They are always right and everyone should listen to them or else, be punished.
The problem is that their adoption of the post-modernist idea that reality does not exists and all is socially constructed makes it harder to know what is true and what is not. Their rejection of facts – such as sex is biological, white people are not all racists and that class will always trump divided identities – means that nobody knows who or what to believe.
As a result, people who may be minded to vote Green will be receptive to all kinds of fake news and the Right’s fake news may actually feel more credible in comparison.
