Not unlike 16th century Puritans, believers in Intersectionality – the new green orthodoxy- have been busy enforcing conformity and folk’s “good ” behaviour. Their idea of intersectional virtue is “The Truth” and theologians or lesser preachers cannot be questionned for fear of permanent banishment.
Through their identinarian gospel filter and the practical capture of the party’s governance, the aim of puritan activists is to control green party members’ thoughts and impose their un-scientific, anti-ecological view of the world.
What Intersectionalists posit is that since reality as acknowledged through 300 years of scientific method and the study of history is ideologically biased, neither can be trusted. All reality is socially constructed. In their ” surreal ” world, life therefore comes down to a perpetual interlocking drama of perceived oppression, power and resistance.
The intersectional cardinal sin is the power some identity groups – essentially all heterosexual white men and to a lesser extend white women – have over others. This is where defending the cause of transgender women and men – but mostly transwomen – somehow classed as “the most oppressed and vunerable” in the world, must take priority over all environmental or ecomomic policies and the rights of all other “groups”.
However, heretics who have been foolish – or brave – enough to stick their heads above the parapet and are now seeking to appeal against their being “suspended”, there is Hope. They can confess to their “privilege” to a small panel of members of the Green Party Regional Council, present any “mitigating circumstances” to overcome their sins and sign up to the conversion workshop recently launched the Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) Committee.
